Facebook Lite | Lebih Sederhana dan Ringan, Saingi Twitter

gambar facebook liteSekarang facebooker bisa mencoba facebook yang lebih sederhana dan ringan.  Facebook yang lebih ramping ini sengaja diperuntukkan terutama bagi penggunanya yang memiliki akses internet lebih lambat. Versi yang lebih sederhana ini tampaknya ditujukan agar Facebook tetap lancar digunakan di negara-negara dengan bandwidth terbatas. Apa nama facebook versi baru itu? Yup Facebook Lite, nama facebook versi baru ini.

Facebook Lite masih dalam taraf percobaan (beta), kabarnya tidak semua user bisa mencoba facebook lite ini, bahkan kabarnya lagi hanya user-user terpilih saja yang bisa menjajalnya. Tapi setelah saya coba, ternyata saya bisa menggunkan versi yang lebih sederhana ini. Apakah saya user terpilih? kurang tahu deh, hehehe.

Namanya juga versi sederhana, banyak juga fitur facebook yang tidak bisa anda akses. Seperti game dan chatting serta aplikasi yang memang kelebihan pada facebook tentunya tidak bisa anda nikmati pada facebook lite ini. Karena memang facebook lite lebih condong pada microblogging semacam twitter, lihat saja screenshot di atas, jika status belum dapat komentar akan tampak menyerupai twitter. Hmm sepertinya facebook berniat menyaingi twitter yang baru-baru ini “meroket” ya?.

    Memang sih lebih ringan, karena fitur2nya ada beberapa yg dipangkas.Mungkin bisa dijadikan alternatif ya, kalau banyak fitur tapi gak semua dipake, mubazir juga kan ?

    Ini lama-lama FB makin jadi murahan ya ambil ide sana-sini. Entah FS dengan bisa ganti-ganti username, Koprol/Plurk dengan real timenya, dan sekarang jadi mirip Twitter hihihi…
